Plea

O God, creator of all things,

pour out your blessing on the fields and factories,

at homes and schools,

in offices and governments.

Look with special affection

to the people who have lost hope

and who know, daily,

nothing but pain.

And now, as we return home,

we beg you to accompany us,

Lord, with your grace and consolation

so that we may live happily and joyfully

all the days of our lives.

Amen.
