Do Not Be Afraid

Lord, how admirable is your Name in all the land! When I contemplate the sky, the moon and the stars that you created, I remain speechless without knowing what to say. You have created me. You know very well what is within me, infinitely more so than I know myself.

Let go, brother and sister; express yourself just as you feel; feel free to speak with the Lord, with full liberty. Free to ask, to complain, and to protest. Tell the Lord, Dear Jesus, nothing interests me but your will, but what is your will? Where is it? Tell me please. Reveal it to me.

 Do not be afraid to set your plans aside. Let nothing enslave you, let nothing tie you down. Let go of your impulses, your fears, your dreams before the all-powerful and all-loving Lord, naturally and with simplicity. Present yourself before Him just as you are, free and naked, here I am. Now you see me as I am. My relationship with Jesus has to be original, personal, unique; as singular as life itself, unrepeatable within the circumstances that I am presently living at this moment, always different. So, too, is my friendship and conversations with the Lord, always new and unique.
