God Himself

Here then, the man of God is not content with the “bits and pieces” of God. He seeks God Himself: He is not satisfied with the fresh waters that descend, dancing, to quench his thirst; he aspires towards the glacier itself, as we read in the verses of John of the Cross:

Unveil your presence,

Kill me with your sight and beauty

See that the hurt of love, Heals only

With the presence and countenance.
