The Love of the Father
“Have you ever seen a flower asking for applause in order to give aroma, or a star, in order to shine, requiring a prize, or a father asking for recognition in order to love? You love without waiting for rewards because God has put a spark of his own fire into the hearts of fathers.
Now, if you are capable of behaving in this way towards your children, have you not thought how it would be with that Father? If you have, then sleep in peace, rise happy and never will wolves prowl around your dwellings.

The Father makes the sun rise every day in order to give you warmth and light; he makes the stars appear at night to chase away fear from your hearts. He has made the mountains high and green, the garden colorful so that the heart may be joyful and content.
Before you go to meet him, he has already gone out to meet you. Before you open your mouth to ask for anything, he is already worrying about what you need.
