When

When all securities fail,

when every human support

has collapsed and the trappings

and garments have vanished,

man, naked and free finds himself,

almost without intending it,

in the hands of God.

A naked man is a man

who has surrendered like those

featherless birds that feel joyful

in the warm hands of the Father.

When one has nothing,

God becomes everything.
