With a Child´s Heart

Only a child can see God

"bringing rivers from their springs,"

"watering the mountains," "making grass

sprout for the cattle," "giving

food in season" to wild animals,

"replenishing the face of the earth

with his breath," "drawing boundaries

in the waters." In the same way, only

a child can contemplate the Father

feeding the sparrows,

clothing the daisies, watering

with rain or fertilizing with the sun

the fields of the just and the

unjust.
