You are with Me

Lord, You probe me and You know me. You penetrate me, You surround me and You love me. You encircle me, You fill me and You transfigure me.

You are with me. If I go out in the street, You come with me. If I sit in my office, You stay by my side. When I sleep, You watch over me like a loving mother. When I walk the paths of life, You Walk by my side. When I get up, sit, or lay down Your eyes see all my actions.

Distance cannot separate me from You. Darkness cannot hide You from me. Nevertheless, You are not a detective watching my movements, but a tender Father that watches His children’s adventures. When I feel like a child lost in the prairie, You shout to me with the prophet saying, “Here I am, with you, do not be afraid.” You embrace me in Your arms, because You are power and love, because You are my God and my Father. You have written my name in the palm of Your right hand as a sign of favor. Wherever I go, You are with me.
