On Pentecost blessed Universal Guide Day

As a Church, we recently celebrated the Solemnity of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit is the living force of God, the breath that gives life where all seemed dead, the impulse that reanimates the Church to go forth and bear witness.

Jesus says: "As the Father has sent me, so I send you." In other words, the disciples are now an extension of Jesus' ministry. With the gift of peace and the strength of the Holy Spirit, they become witnesses of God's mercy.

This is the call that all the Guides of the world joyfully received, commemorating this day in a gathering filled with fraternity and fidelity, the Universal Guide Day, celebrated in different countries, including Chile.
