To love and be loved

I never tire of repeating: to love God is difficult, almost impossible. To love our neighbor is even more difficult. But when we are won over by the love of the Father, there is the uncontainable desire to “reach out” to love. At this time, to love God will not only be easy but almost inevitable. Even more, we will feel the insane desire to meet someone, anyone, along the innumerable roads of the world, to treat them as the Father has treated us, and to make others happy as the Father has made us happy.

Only those who are loved are able to love. Only the free are able to liberate. Only the pure purify, and the only ones who can sow peace are those who have it.

Someone who is loved is not told to love. Without anyone telling that person, an inescapable force brings him to understand, forgive, accept, gather, and take care of all the orphans who walk the earth in need of happiness and love.
