In search of Peace

In our daily activities, we are normally alienated, that is to say, separated from ourselves. Consciously or unconsciously, we are fugitives from ourselves, avoiding confrontation of our own mystery. But, upon entering the profundity of God, we also enter our deepest recesses and touch our own mystery, which is summed up in these three questions: Who am I? What is the fundamental purpose of my life? What is necessary to keep this plan going?

We are aware that selfishness has unleashed a state of war in our interior. We know that, with so much turbulence within, it will be impossible to establish a current of peaceful and harmonious intimacy with the God of peace.

As a result, we feel the real need for purification, and we see that such a purification is only possible by way of a total reconciliation. We feel the necessity and the desire to put out the flames, to cover the trenches, to silence the battles, to accept the negative aspects of our personality, to forgive ourselves, to forgive others, to abandon all resistance. In short, the need for general reconciliation. And a fruit of this will give us peace.
