The transience of what surrounds us
Illusions, passions, anxieties, fantasies, fears, plans..., everything is inexorably dragged along into the ocean of nonexistence. Suffer for what? Nothing is left alive; everything is buried in the temple of silence, as the rivers are buried in the sea.
Transience imposes its law on everything that has a beginning. Let things be born, shine and disappear like glowworms. The Father has disposed of it thus. He never passes. He remains forever. The Father is Reality.

When, through observation and meditation, a person becomes vitally convinced of the transitory nature of all that surrounds him, when he lets things be and frees himself emotionally from what has no value (giving no “importance” to what has none), from that moment, that person is immersed in a profound peace, similar to that of the lamp whose flame goes out once its oil has been totally consumed.
In all the circumstances of his life, he is fully conscious and fully in control of himself. He lives mindfully. He has already transcended relativity and placed things in perspective: the relative in its place, the Absolute in its place. At that moment, he will find himself in the ideal disposition to love. His relationships with others will be interwoven with understanding, kindness and strength.
