The word

Father Ignacio told us we should announce the good news in a loud voice and what was heard in secret should be shouted from the rooftops. Through water and a few words, we receive baptism: through a few words our sins are pardoned, and to the tune of more sacramental words, our Lord descends to the altar.

The magnificence of the psalms, the exaltation of the canticles, the joy of Christmas, the Glory of Easter, everything is a garland woven of human words.

A lie is a desecration of the sanctity of the word because the truth never changes. Jesus is the Word that showed and revealed to us the mystery of the Kingdom by means of metaphors and parables, simple and popular words.
